The diabetes which is generally spoken about is Diabetes mellitus. Other type of Diabetes is Diabetes insipidus which refers to the kidneys and will not be discussed here, but in the next article Type 1 diabetes (Insulin dependant diabetes mellitus) 2-Type 2 Diabetes mellitus
