Is Adenoid Surgery painful for kids ?

During the surgery, your child will be unconscious and won’t experience any pain. The excess adenoid tissue will be removed by the surgeon. Typically, the procedure takes 20 to 30 minutes. Until your child is awake and able to breathe on their own, cough, and swallow, they will remain in the recovery room.
